Lord Ganpati Bapa

This piece is my favorite. I remember going to the temple with my grandmother and walking past movie posters plastered on the walls. Posters of the same movie lined up pasted on the street walls. I remember the texture of the glue and paper distorting the image. I wanted to give this piece that feel of the posters pasted on the wall. I glued paper to the canvas to give this piece texture. As I continue my series of Ganesh I wanted this piece to be unique as I miss traveling to India. I miss visiting temples and holy places in India.
